1893 U.S. 5c Columbian Postal Envelope
Used in the Philippines

1899 JUNE 5: MANILA to ITALY
I believe affixed on verso are cut squares covered with a piece of paper
as the 5c PSE already the proper outbound civilian rate.
Paper probably later peeled (reminds me of the Beatles "BUTCHER" album) off.
This is the 5th Columbian envelope that I have seen used in the Philippines.

Postmark used from
APRIL 21, 1899 to MARCH 16, 1900,
with later impressions deformed.
